Joe Milligan's interest in the singer/songwriter genre dates back to his childhood growing up in Philadelphia where he started playing the guitar at the age of seven and writing songs at age 10. Joe soon became captivated by the likes of James Taylor, John Prine, Gordon Lightfoot, Tom Waits, Jackson Browne, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell and of course Bob Dylan.
