Annie Bacon is a writer and songwriter living in Ann Arbor, Michigan (via Maine and San Francisco). With her OSHEN she merges a literary writing style and folk-rock Americana sound to create rich and emotionally complex music. Bacon emerges from a loss-filled five years with 2024's Storm, praised as "a landmark release" (Glide), "mature and sophisticated songwriting" (AmericanaUK), and "brilliant nostalgic elegance" (The Wild Is Calling). Outdoor shows: May-September in our large yard. In case of rain, we will move to the screened-in sun porch. Bring your own lawn chairs and snacks and beverages.
Indoor shows: in the living room, limited to 25 people. Light potluck before the show. Beer and wine are welcomed.
While our artists are mostly acoustic musicians, the shows will be lightly amplified to ensure everyone can hear.

Our home occupies space on the ancestral, traditional, and contemporary lands of the Peoria, Fox, Potawatomi, and Anishinabewaki peoples. We are grateful and humbled to have the opportunity to steward this land in their absence. We hope to honor their legacy by sustainable, non-toxic, and loving land and wildlife habitat management.
