For the space of an evening, Caroline Cotter created a sort of parallel universe where the cares of the world dropped away and everything was safe, warm and welcoming. Her stories gave meaningful context to her deeply personal, elegantly poetic, and always thoughtful songwriting. Her playing style is simple but competent, and her voice reminds me of a cross between Kate Rusby and Alison Krauss — pure, unadorned and perfectly adapted to her material. Very highly recommended."
